The Goal
CB Eats is an app focused on ordering food online from Cape Breton area restaurants in just a few taps. Unfortunately, there weren't many visual updates since its launch and so its navigation and key elements are obsolete. The goal was to give the app a new facelift, increase its visual appeal, and enhance the user experience through UI, making it easier to find your next meal.
The Design Process
The process was divided into 4 phases:
1. Understand: the requirements, create user personas and define use cases.
2. Research: Analyze competitors, research the latest UX trends and keep an eye on guidelines.
3. Understand: gather ideas, draw sketches & wireframes, and evaluate and re-draw.
4. Design: design images, create prototypes, and define UX guidelines.
