What Is "Job Seeker"?

LinkedIn's Job Seeker is a paid subscription tool that gives the user more emphasis in their job search, making the profile stand out. This feature puts the user in contact with headhunters, hiring managers and business companies who are searching for new employees, making it easier to establish new connections and providing insights into how to enhance your profile to appear more attractive to the job market.

The Brief

Create an ad showing, in a simple way, why the user should contact the Job Seeker feature and how this can lead the user to their desired position.

The Idea

The mote was focused on why it's important to make meaningful connections.
As LinkedIn is a free social media platform, anyone can create a profile and start to connect to people, but this doesn't mean you are making the right connections or appearing in a job search. For this, we choose to illustrate our ad with famous pop culture figures, showing that even though this person could have the right amount of fame and be in touch with many people, without the right connection their effort could fail.

The Design Process

The process was divided into 4 phases:
1. Understand: the tool's requirements, figure out easy and visual ways to translate the idea.
2. Research: Analyze possible paths, research the best way to translate the ideia.
3. Understand: gather ideas, draw sketches, try titles, and evaluate and re-draw.
4. Design: design how to approach in the simplest way possible making clear the concept is understandable to different people with different backgrounds.
